Gavin P. Reynolds, BA, PhD

Honorary Professor, Sheffield Hallam University; Professor Emeritus, Queen's University Belfast.


Professor Reynolds held the position of Chair of Neuroscience at Queen's University Belfast and academic posts in Nottingham and Sheffield.


His main research interests, reflected by over 300 publications, lie in two directions: the neurotransmitter pathology of schizophrenia, and the mechanisms underlying the beneficial and adverse effects of antipsychotics and other psychoactive drugs.


He has international collaborations and visiting professor appointments in China and south east Asia, and is a past President of the British Association for Psychopharmacology (BAP).
